SimHunt Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 June 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to SimHunt through <https://simhunt.xyz> and any other secured access point provided for the platform. SimHunt is a private digital asset managed by KNOWDYN LTD (UK).

1. Platform purpose

SimHunt is a discovery, metadata, readiness-assessment, and access-control platform for public physics simulation dataset records. It helps users identify potentially relevant CFD, FEA, FSI, thermal, and multiphysics datasets for research, engineering, and machine-learning workflows.

2. Accounts and access

Users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and comply with verification and access controls. SimHunt may approve, deny, suspend, revoke, or limit access where needed for security, legal compliance, platform integrity, rights protection, or operational reasons.

3. Subscriber-only information

Verified subscriber features, source URLs, API outputs, private records, and protected metadata must not be shared, resold, scraped, mirrored, republished, or used to reconstruct SimHunt or a competing database unless expressly authorized in writing.

4. Third-party datasets

SimHunt references third-party dataset sources but does not own those datasets unless expressly stated. Users are responsible for reviewing original licences, citation requirements, redistribution limits, ethics obligations, privacy restrictions, export-control issues, and technical suitability before using any external dataset.

5. Intellectual property

All SimHunt platform materials, including the interface, source code, copy, database organization, curation, scoring presentation, readiness methodology, records generated by SimHunt, and trade dress are owned or controlled by KNOWDYN LTD or its licensors. No rights are granted except the limited right to access the platform in accordance with these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

Users must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited activity includes bypassing access controls, unauthorized scraping, credential sharing, abuse of APIs, hostile testing, infringement, illegal activity, and interference with platform operations.

7. No warranties

SimHunt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Readiness labels, scores, summaries, tags, source links, and metadata are decision-support signals, not guarantees of accuracy, legality, availability, performance, safety, reproducibility, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KNOWDYN LTD and SimHunt are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, loss-of-profit, loss-of-data, research, procurement, engineering, safety, or business losses arising from use of the platform or third-party datasets.

9. Changes

SimHunt may update platform features, records, scoring, access controls, policies, and these Terms. Continued use after changes means the user accepts the updated terms.

10. Suspension and termination

SimHunt may suspend or terminate access if a user breaches these Terms, creates legal or security risk, harms platform integrity, infringes rights, or misuses subscriber-only information.
